Dragon Fire Martial Arts is located in South Portland, Maine.
 The ancient Chinese believed that dragons would use their fire to protect the treasures of their caves.
When our school was in the naming stage, I wanted a name that would truly represent how we as instructors felt about our students. We feel our students are the treasure of our school, thus the name Dragon Fire Martial Arts.
Our goal here is to teach our students all about shotokan karate and the mental and physical benefits that karate training has to offer. We want to see our students become more focused, self-controlled and show incredible respect.
We feel students learn better in a friendly, loving atmosphere and we run our classes in such a manner. We strive to be the same kind of instructors that we would want in front of our own children.
